Breaking the Centralized Order: DAO Design for Founders in North Dakota

Fargo has a notable software community, and agricultural and energy technology are important across North Dakota.

Farmer and electric cooperatives are deeply rooted in North Dakota. These are exactly the institutional questions a DAO has to answer in code: who belongs, who decides and who is accountable.

Founders, builders and community organizers in Fargo, Bismarck and Grand Forks are experimenting with shared treasuries, token voting and online governance.

The book is about institutional design, not legal advice: rules on entities, tokens and taxes differ by jurisdiction, so consult a local professional in North Dakota before you launch.
